Place and design review

Place and design review is a multi-disciplined review and critique of planning schemes.

The process identifies opportunities for improving the design and any wider added benefits that an application might be able to deliver. The process can be applied to all scales of development and consequently the range of expertise on the review panel is altered accordingly. The review is most valuable at the early stage of design and during the pre-application process as the applicant can be given a steer to the Council’s likely position when the application comes forward for approval.
