Urban Design

Urban design draws together the many strands of place-making – environmental responsibility, social equity and economic viability, for example – into the creation of places of beauty and distinct identity.’ Urban Design Compendium

Urban Design is concerned with how places function, not just how they look, and the processes that ensure successful places are delivered and maintained. It brings together a variety of subjects relating to the built environment, such as planning, architecture, transportation, development economics, sustainability, landscape, public realm (providing a holistic overview of development).

We have two Urban Designers with experience of a range of successful Urban Design projects at a variety of scales in numerous contexts.
