Solihull Council's Conservation of the Historic Environment, Landscape Architecture, Urban Design and Ecology Team (CLAUDE)
Solihull Council’s award winning Conservation of the Historic Environment, Landscape Architecture, Urban Design and Ecology Team can take your ideas from inception to completion.
From broad masterplanning and concept development, through detail design of hard and soft landscape, biodiversity enhancement and public realm, technical specification, procurement, contract management and on-site supervision, completion and handover – we offer a ‘one-stop shop’.
The team is experienced in project management of large value landscape, park and urban regeneration projects and is made up of Landscape Architects, Ecologists, Urban Designers and Historic Environment Conservation officers.
Funding boost for Solihull’s habitats
Solihull Council secured almost £2m of funding to improve areas of grassland, woodland and wetland in the borough between 2017 and 2020.
Through the Solihull Habitat and Nature Improvements Project, the Council’s dedicated project team has worked with the Environment Agency, Warwickshire Wildlife Trust, community groups and volunteers to improve 100 hectares of accessible green space.
