Summer Activities 2020

During this year’s school holidays, there are a number of activities and events happening for children and families, as well as Ofsted Registered holiday schemes and childminders offering care throughout the holidays.

Please note: throughout the summer holidays we will try our very best to update you with further details of activities, events and holiday schemes as information becomes available. Therefore, please do keep checking our webpage on a regular basis for all the latest details.

Find out how to choose safe activities for your children as well as how to choose a registered childcare place. Parents and carers can view the current government guidance on out of school settings who are planning to run during summer 2020.

If your child has additional needs or a disability knowing what the right activity is for your child may not be easy to work out, but our inclusive activities leaflet and inclusive childcare fact sheet can help.

SOLAR are providing a range of workshops and activities over the summer to support children’s (and parents) emotional wellbeing and mental health. You can view their timetable and their Request to Access form here. For any queries email or call 0121 301 2750.

You can also access information and advice about a range of mental wellbeing services for young people offering support during summer 2020.

Our Solihull Family Service Directory lists information all year round on Ofsted registered childcare providers, activities and support services for families.
