Credit Union

29th September 2018

Credit Unions are not-for-profit co-operatives aiming to provide affordable financial services for members of the local community. It will offer financial services similar to a bank’s, but the ownership of the company is shared by its members. Credit Unions help you take control of your money by encouraging you to save regularly, and borrow when you need to at very affordable rates.

Be a regular saver with Advance Credit Union. Advance Credit Union loans are simple and affordable. Take a look at their website to view their current rates. You can join online and manage your money with online banking or simply download the application form.

Save by standing order, or at a local Collection Point. Employees of Solihull Council and Solihull Community Housing can also save via payroll deduction.

The Money Advisers at Solihull Community Housing are able to assist our tenants and leaseholders to open a Basic Bank Account. This account will enable you to accept wages or benefits and in some cases pay by Standing Order or Direct Debit.

We are committed to helping you to:

  • Manage your money effectively.
  • Make it easier to make your regular payments by Direct Debit or Standing Order
